Community Economic Development
The overarching purpose of CED projects is to strengthen the capacity of
community-serving organizations, small business entrepreneurs, and communities in
a manner that promotes locals driven projects and community wealth.

Community Environmental Development
The Community Environmental Development (CEDE) project works to increase
the knowledge, skills, experience, and attitudes of community members, promoters,
educators, park personnel, youth, and women's groups to adopt appropriate behaviors
in their interaction with the environment and for the implementation of community
projects and actions for sustainable development and protection of the natural
environment.

Healthy Environment (Water)
The project focuses on improving the sanitation and health practices of
low-income, rural families through educational activities and improvement
of sanitation infrastructure.

Information and Communication Technology Education
The purpose of the Education ICT project is to improve the availability and
quality of education in rural and marginal urban schools through training teachers,
students and other community members in how to use information and communication
technology.

The purpose of PC-DR's Innovations in basic and Special Education Project
is to improve education at the local (community and district) level by
implementing projects that will assure increases in
the quantity and quality of educational services for basic and special needs
children.
